First generation farmers, who started with nothing.

When Brittney and Cole bought their ranch, it was nothing but plain dirt. Overgrown with trees and old fencing that needed to be  removed.

They are building their ranch from the ground up. One fencepost at a time. And, they
live by the motto, "Make do, or do without."

They are the next generation of farmers in Canada. With an average aging population of farmers (58!), it is nice to hear from these young people and feel the passion they have for not only their animals but also the soil, the earth, and water-- it's all they've ever wanted to do and they continue to sacrifice for it. They breed heritage breed chickens, pigs, and a unique livestock guardian dogs.
